Overview
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) and City of Milwaukee Department of Public Works are proposing improvements to approximately 0.75 miles of WIS 32 in the City of Milwaukee. The purpose of this project is to provide long-term improvements to the pavement, operation, and safety of the roadway. The project is proposing to:
- Replace entire pavement structure of WIS 32 from East Florida Street to East St. Paul Avenue
- Replace curb ramps to meet ADA standards
- Update traffic signals
- Evaluate bicycle facilities
Schedule
Construction is tentatively scheduled for 2031.
Public Involvement
A public involvement meeting was held on Feb. 12, 2026 providing the public and opportunity to learn more about the project, get questions answered, and provide input. The following materials were displayed:
