WIS 89 (Waterloo east limits to Maunesha River), Waterloo - Jefferson County
Project overview
This is a pavement replacement level project. Proposed improvements include:
- Pavement replacement
- Curb and gutter replacement
- Sidewalk replacement
- Curb ramp replacement
- Street lighting replacement
- Storm sewer replacement
- City of Waterloo will replace the sanitary sewer and water main prior to this project starting construction
Schedule
- August 25, 2025 - Public Involvement Meeting
- 2028 - Construction anticipated
Traffic impacts/detours
WIS 89 will be closed to through traffic and detoured, tentatively utilizing WIS 19, WIS 73 and I-94.
Tentatively WIS 19 will be detoured utilizing WIS 73, I-94 and WIS 26.
Access to adjacent properties and emergency responders will be maintained. Pedestrian access will be provided during construction with temporary accommodations.
