Various bridges on I-39/90/94, I-94 and US 151 - Columbia, Dane and Jefferson counties
Project overview
The project will install polymer overlays or methacrylate flood seals on eleven bridges in Columbia, Dane and Jefferson counties. These treatments are needed to extend the service life of the bridge decks. A 6-foot wide raised sidewalk will be added to the Milwaukee Street bridge in Dane County.

Traffic impacts/detours
Work is anticipated to take place under lane closures and traffic shifts during nighttime and off-peak traffic hours. Nighttime ramp closures with a detour are anticipated during work on the US 151 southbound bridge and Milwaukee Street bridge. Milwaukee Street will be reduced to one lane in each direction, a pedestrian lane will remain open.
