WIS 67 Resurfacing (N. Lincoln Street to US 12) - Walworth County

Overview

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is proposing to resurface approximately 1 mile of WIS 67 from N. Lincoln Street to US12 in the City of Elkhorn in Walworth County. Proposed improvements include:

  • Resurface the roadway, including pavement repairs
  • Road diet (lane reduction) from N. Lincoln Street to Market Street
  • Replace traffic signals at Market Street
  • Upgrade curb ramps to American with Disability Act (ADA) standards
  • US 12 bridge repairs and deck sealing with beam guard upgrades

Schedule

Construction is anticipated to start in summer of 2031 and could advance to 2029 if funding is available.

Public Involvement

WisDOT will hold an open-house public involvement meeting on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 in the Council Chambers of the Elkhorn Administration Offices (311 Seymour Ct.) in Elkhorn from 5 to 7 p.m. for the public to learn more about the proposed improvements, get questions answered, and provide input to the project team. Meeting materials will be posted to the website after the meeting.
