The Blatnik BridgeThe design-build project to replace the Blatnik Bridge between Superior and Duluth, Minn., is a joint effort of the Wisconsin and Minnesota DOTs, with Minnesota being the lead agency. Contracting teams interested in learning more about submitting a project proposal are encouraged to review the information on the Minnesota DOT’s website.

Bonding Education for Small and Disadvantaged Businesses Kickoff Meeting

  • MnDOT Civil Rights is working with WisDOT Civil Rights and the USDOT small and disadvantaged business technical resource center to host an education program this fall helping small businesses improve their bonding capabilities and overall work capacity. This effort is to build up the pool of ready, willing, and able subcontractors ready to participate on the Blatnik Bridge project.
  • This virtual kickoff meeting will provide an overview of the project, timeline, and some potential work types for small businesses.
