I-41 (S County Line to N County Line), Lomira - Dodge County
Project overview
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is proposing to improve 7.3 miles of I-41 in Dodge County near the Village of Lomira.
Proposed improvements:
- Resurface existing pavement (mill and overlay)
- Culvert repair
- Repair ends and culvert linings
- Rehabilitate WIS 49 bridge over I-41
- Deck repair, girder repairs, concrete surface repairs, replace structure approach slabs
- Resurface existing pavement (mill and overlay) for WIS 28, WIS 49 and WIS 67 interchanges
- Replace guardrail and cable barrier
Schedule
- July 15, 2025 - Public Involvement Meeting
- Spring-fall 2029 - Construction anticipated
Traffic impacts/detours
I-41 will remain open under temporary lane closures. WIS 28 and WIS 67 will require flagging operations.
