Project Overview
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is proposing a maintenance project to address drainage concerns on the I-43 northbound structure over County LL near Port Washington, Ozaukee County.

Proposed improvements:
- Reroute the existing drainage system to a new storm sewer pipe on the east side of County LL.
- Embankment repair/maintenance
- Fill a gap under the south abutment of the northbound I-43 structure over County LL.
- Regrade and reseal the slope protection.
- Investigate the addition of a drain tile into the I-43 median.
Traffic Impacts
A full closure of County LL is anticipated during construction and a detour will be posted.

Construction is scheduled for fall 2025.
