Sponsor's Guide for Non-Traditional Projects

The Sponsor’s Guide is a procedural manual, designed to walk project sponsors and their designees through the successful project delivery of locally let, federally funded transportation projects (Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Improvement Program (CMAQ), Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP), Carbon Reduction Program (CRP)). Upon thorough review of the Sponsor’s Guide document, complete the SG00 Sponsor’s Guide Acknowledgement form and submit it to your regional office Local Program Project Manager (LPPM).

An updated version of the guide is published online every two years, but more frequent addendums should be expected by project sponsors. Bookmark this site and subscribe to the Local Program listserv to stay up-to-date on changes to the Sponsor’s Guide.
