The current version of SBDT is v1.1 released 6/4/2024.

The following is a list of known errors in plans produced by SBDT v1.1.

  • Sheets 4 & 6 - Abutment
    • The dimension to CL given in "Detail A" is incorrect. It should match the dimension given in the plan view.
  • Sheets 5 & 7 - Abutment Details
    • The lowest bar A810/B810 may conflict with the first and last piles in the abutment body if the piles are close enough to the ends of the abutment body.
  • Sheet 10 - Single Slope Parapet 42SS
    • For plans with concrete barriers, the R510 and R511 bars have an incorrect length in the bill of bars. The bar steel quantities use the correct lengths.

The following is a list of known errors in plans produced by SBDT v1.0.

  • Sheets 5 & 7 - Abutment Details
    • Bar mark A508/B508 may have the wrong quantity in the bill of bars for skewed bridges.
  • Sheet 8 - Superstructure
    • In the Cross Section Thru Roadway, the longitudinal reinforcement is incorrectly given the same bar mark as the transverse reinforcement. The bars are labeled correctly in the Plan and Longitudinal Section views.
  • Sheet 9 - Superstructure Details
    • For plans with Type M railings, bar S609 is detailed incorrectly and the length in the Bill Of Bars is too long. The bar should follow Standard 30.16.
