Location: Northeast Wisconsin, Marinette County, town of Middle Inlet. Sweetheart City and Creek roads forming a loop off County X near the intersection of US 141 and County X.

A curvy, hilly route passing through many wooded areas that often form a scenic canopy over the road, R-97 also offers some outstanding agricultural vistas, abundant wildlife and a view of a small lake.
