WIS 157 (5th Avenue to 17th Avenue), Onalaska - La Crosse County
Project overview
This project involves a 0.97 mile long stretch of WIS 157 from 5th Avenue to 17th Avenue, the purpose of this project is to address deteriorating pavement. Proposed improvements include:
- Removing and replacing the existing concrete
- Replacement of curb and gutter
- Updated utilities

- April 24, 2025 - Public Involvement Meeting
- 2029 - Construction anticipated
Traffic impacts/detours
WIS 157 will be closed and detoured during construction. Access for residents and businesses will remain.
