WIS 136 (Narrows Creek bridge to Belter Drive), Rock Springs - Sauk County
Project overview
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) plans to improve this 3.72 mile section of WIS 136 from the Narrows Creek bridge to Belter Drive.
Project includes:
- Mill and replace HMA pavement
- Add a polymer overlay to the Narrows Creek Bridge
- Replace guardrail to meet WisDOT standards
- Replace approaches at railroad crossing in Rock Springs

Traffic impacts/detours
WIS 136 will remain open to traffic under flagging operations.
WIS 136 will be closed for a short duration while work occurs around the railroad and a detour route will utilize US 12 and WIS 33.
