Project overview

The purpose of this project on WIS 130 is to replace the deteriorated pavement surface, guardrail, and culvert pipes. The existing asphaltic pavement is cracking and deteriorating in condition. Treatment is needed to extend the pavement service life. Without improvement, the pavement will continue to deteriorate and adversely affect traveling conditions.

Improvements include:

  • Pavement resurfacing
  • Replace guardrail end terminals
  • Replace culvert pipes that are in poor condition

Schedule

  • March 2021 - Virtual Public Involvement Meeting (PIM)
  • 2027 - Construction anticipated; advanceable to 2026 if funding is available.

Traffic impacts/detours

WIS 130 will be closed to through traffic and detoured during construction (view the detour route).

Access for residents, businesses, property owners, and emergency services will be maintained at all times during the project.
