Location
The project in the Pierce County city of Prescott includes work on US 10 from the Minnesota state line to 1,700 east of WIS 29 and WIS 35 from Wacota Street to US 10.

- Making concrete pavement repairs in the existing concrete pavement sections from Lake Street North/Locust Street North to 1,700 feet east of WIS 29
- Resurfacing the park and ride lot on Pearl Street just north of US 10
- Completing traffic signal and detention basin work
- Replacing concrete barrier and guardrail
- Making storm sewer, curb and gutter and spot curb ramp improvements
- Extending the sidewalk from the Campbell Street/Orrin Road intersection to the Eagle Ridge Road intersection
- Installing new pavement markings
- Clearing the roadside
- WIS 35
- Milling 2 inches off the existing asphalt pavement sections of roadway and paving 2 inches of hot-mix asphalt over the highway from Wacota Street to Kinnickinnic Street
- Making concrete pavement repairs in the existing concrete pavement sections from Kinnickinnic Street to US 10
- Rehabilitating one retaining wall and replacing another
- Making storm sewer, curb and gutter and spot curb ramp improvements
- Replacing guardrail at spot locations
- Extending the sidewalk from the Monroe Street intersection to the existing sidewalk to the northwest
- Installing new pavement markings
- Clearing the roadside

WisDOT's In This Together program provides information to help businesses better understand the overall process and prepare for what's ahead.
Schedule
Construction currently is scheduled for 2029.
Traffic Impacts
During construction, US 10 and WIS 35 are anticipated to remain open, but motorists might encounter lane closures, reduced speeds, temporary access adjustments, temporary pedestrian accommodations and short-term detours for localized work.
