Location
The Yellow River Bridge on US 63 in the Washburn County city of Spooner.
Overview
Built in 1975, the Yellow River Bridge on US 63 in Spooner is showing signs of deterioration. To address that, the Wisconsin Department of Transportation is proposing to:
- Overlay the bridge deck with concrete
- Make concrete surface repairs to bridge abutments and parapet
- Replace concrete approach slabs
- Pave the roadway with asphalt on both sides of the structure
- Complete work to improve drainage adjacent to the bridge
- Replace guardrail on the west side of US 63
- Replace pavement markings
