Location
The proposed project includes bridges on and over I-94 in St. Croix, Dunn, Eau Claire, Trempealeau and Jackson counties.
Overview
To protect the structures from water, moisture and chemicals penetrating them, the Wisconsin Department of Transportation is proposing to:
- Remove sand and debris with compressed air to prep bridge deck
- Apply a protective surface treatment to bridge deck and pier column surfaces
Schedule
Construction currently is scheduled for 2029.
Traffic Impacts
During work, I-94 will remain open to traffic, but motorists will encounter:
- Short-term lane closures during off-peak travel times.
