Location
The proposed project includes structures in the following counties:
- Chippewa County:
- WIS 124: Three bridges over O’Neil Creek between Eagleton and WIS 64
- Dunn County:
- WIS 25: Bridge over Hay River north of Wheeler
- Eau Claire County:
- US 12 (Clairemont Avenue): Pedestrian underpass just east of Keith Street in the city of Eau Claire
- Pierce County:
- US 10: Bridge over Plum Creek in Plum City
- Trempealeau County:
- US 53: Bridge over a branch of the north fork of Beaver Creek in Trempealeau northeast of Ettrick
Overview
To extend the service lives of the structures, WisDOT is proposing to:
- Make concrete repairs on bridge decks.
- Clean bridge decks.
- Place a polymer overlay on the bridge decks.
Schedule - Updated
Construction currently is scheduled for 2029.
- Construction could occur as early as 2028 if funding becomes available.
Traffic Impacts
The highways will remain open to traffic, but motorists will encounter lane closures controlled by flagging during daylight hours.
