The proposed project includes structures in the following counties:
- Barron County
- WIS 25: Bridge over Upper Pine Creek northwest of Dallas
- WIS 25: Bridge over Lower Pine Creek north of Ridgeland
- WIS 48: Bridge over a drainage way west of Rice Lake
- Bayfield County:
- US 2: Bridge over North Fish Creek east of Ino
- Douglas County:
- WIS 13: Bridge over Miller Creek northwest of Poplar
- Rusk County:
- WIS 27: Bridge over Thornapple River north of Ladysmith
- WIS 40: Bridge over Alder Creek north of Bruce
- WIS 40: Bridge over Becky Creek north of Bruce
- Sawyer County
- WIS 40: Bridge over Couderay River south of the village of Radisson
- WIS 48: Bridge over Weirgor Creek in Exeland
Overview
To extend the service lives of the structures, WisDOT is proposing to:
- Make concrete repairs on bridge decks.
- Clean bridge decks.
- Place a polymer overlay on the bridge decks.
Schedule - Updated
Construction currently is scheduled for 2029.
- Construction could occur as early as 2028 if funding becomes available.
Traffic Impacts
The highways will remain open to traffic, but motorists will encounter lane closures controlled by flagging during daylight hours.
