Location
WIS 73, 4th Court and County F, Adams and Waushara counties
Project Overview
The existing pavement is showing signs of distress in the form of cracking. There is a history of northbound rear end crashes occurring near a commercial driveway. Twelve culverts are nearing the end of their service life. The guardrail over the Leola ditch is damaged and nearing the end of its service life.
The purpose of this project is to address the roadway deficiencies and minimize the overall life cycle cost of
the corridor. Proposed improvements include:
- Replacing the asphalt pavement
- Widening the paved shoulder at the driveway to Ponderosa Pine Campground
- Replacing and repairing culverts
- Replacing the guardrail over Leola ditch

WIS 73 will remain open to traffic during construction. During construction, motorists can expect single-lane closures with flaggers and temporary traffic signals.
