Milling and paving operations on a resurfacing project on southbound WIS 124 from Duncan Creek to Bridge Street in Chippewa Falls will result in no parking on East Elm, North Bridge, West Cedar and Bay streets. This work is tentatively scheduled to start Wednesday, July 30.
Construction on the project began in early June. Other work has included replacing the storm sewer on Elm Street and updating sidewalk curb ramps. The traffic signals on Columbia Street, Grand Avenue, Central Street, Spring Street and River Street also will be modified.
The project is scheduled for completion in late October.
