Replacement of sanitary lift station to close WIS 35 in Alma

WIS 35 is expected to close to through traffic for about a month beginning July 31, so a sanitary lift station under the roadway near Bluff Street can be replaced in the Buffalo County city of Alma.

During construction, through traffic will be detoured via the following truck routes - WIS 35/54, WIS 93, US 10 and WIS 35. WIS 35 will remain open to motorists traveling to Fountain City, Cochrane and the south side of Alma.

Motorists are reminded that using handheld cell phones in Wisconsin work zones is illegal. Alerts and updates provided via these sites are not intended for use while driving. When driving, your focus should always be on driving.
