Release date: May 28, 2026
To invest in Wisconsin’s transportation system, Governor Evers recently signed a $2,488,455 contract to reconstruct the WIS 19 and Westmount Drive intersection in Sun Prairie, Dane County. Preliminary work is scheduled to begin June 1.
Parisi Construction, LLC is the prime contractor for the project. The project is designed to improve safety and traffic operations at the WIS 19 and Westmount Drive intersection in Sun Prairie. The current intersection will be reconstructed into a single lane roundabout with pedestrian crossings on WIS 19.
During construction, WIS 19 will remain open with one lane of traffic in each direction.
Project completion is scheduled for late August 2026. The schedule is dependent on favorable weather conditions and construction progress.
