Traffic shift planned on westbound I-94 in St. Croix County

Release date: March 24, 2025

Motorists can expect single-lane closures starting at 6 tonight on westbound I-94 in St. Croix County in the Roberts area as crews prepare to switch traffic from the westbound interstate lanes to the temporary lanes built in the median.

The traffic switch, anticipated to occur late tonight or early Tuesday morning, is necessary, so crews can start construction on a project replacing the bridge carrying westbound I-94 over 100th Street west of Roberts. The structure is one of two being replaced in 2025; the other bridge carries westbound I-94 bridge over Kinney Road.
