Public input requested for US 12 and Larkin Street intersection, Tomah

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is seeking public input on intersection improvements at US 12 and Larkin Street in Tomah, Monroe County. Construction is currently scheduled for 2028.

A presentation and materials detailing the US 12 and Larkin Street intersection project are available to view on the project website at https://wisconsindot.gov/Pages/projects/by-region/sw/us12-larkinstreet/default.aspx.

The project will improve intersection safety at US 12 and Larkin Street in Tomah. The proposed improvements include installing offset turn lanes on US 12 and a right turn lane on eastbound US 12 at Larkin Street.

US 12 will remain open to traffic while being constructed with lane closures. Short term closures of Larkin Street are anticipated. All local residences and businesses will remain open to traffic.

All persons interested in the project are encouraged to view the website and provide input by contacting project staff via email, postal mail, or phone. Your comments will assist WisDOT in developing a project that will serve the needs of the traveling public and community. Your input is welcome and appreciated throughout the design process.
