The culverts – one west of County J (Spring Street) and the northwest of Cemetery Road – need of maintenance. The Wisconsin Department of Transportation is proposing the following at:
- Culvert just west of County J:
- Replacing the top slab on the existing culvert
- Replacing railing
- Completing minor roadway approach work
- Replacing curb and gutter
- Placing new pavement markings
- Culvert northwest of Cemetery Road:
- Lining the existing box culvert
During construction, WIS 35 will be closed for work at the culvert just west of County J, and a detour will be signed. WIS 35 will remain open during work at the culvert northwest of Cemetery Road, but motorists will encounter lane closures controlled by flagging.
Construction currently is scheduled for 2027.
More information about the project can be found on the project’s website, including a comment form. Comments on the project are being accepted through March 11.
