Attn.: Christena O’Brien
Built in 1920, the bridge is nearing the end of its surface life. WisDOT is proposing to:
- Remove the existing bridge.
- Construct a new single-span concrete girder bridge with sidewalks from WIS 98/County K to the east end of the bridge.
- Reconstruct approach pavement on both sides of the structure to accommodate drainage and provide a smooth ride onto the new bridge.
- Remove existing guardrail.
Construction currently is scheduled for 2027.
During construction, WIS 98 will be closed, and through traffic will be detoured via WIS 73, County H and County Y.
