The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is conducting a public involvement meeting to discuss proposed improvements on WIS 80 from WIS 58 to the Wisconsin Central Limited (WCL) Railroad in Juneau County.
The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, January 28, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at the Necedah Town Hall, 101 Center Street, Necedah. The objective of this meeting is to familiarize the public with the purpose and need for the project and to obtain input on the proposed improvements.
Proposed improvements include resurfacing 3-miles of pavement, updated pavement markings and guardrail and improvements at the WCL railroad crossing. Construction is scheduled for 2029.
