Roadway design files (RDF) - Civil 3D file descriptions

General instructions

• Each self-extracting compressed file contains one or more standard roadway design Civil 3D data files.
• Extracted files intended for use in AutoCAD Civil 3D 2010 on Windows XP, 32-bit.
• Specific functionality may be lost when working with different software versions/operating system.

Internet Explorer browsers, click on file to start the extraction process.

Files should extract into the default directory for AutoCAD Civil 3D 2010 in Windows XP. You will have the option of extracting the files into any directory you choose by overtyping the target path.

Firefox browsers, click on file to start the extraction process.

Files should extract into the default directory for AutoCAD Civil 3D 2010 in Windows XP. You will have the option of extracting the files into any directory you choose by overtyping the target path. 

Netscape browsers, click on file to download. Then, in File Manager or Explorer, double-click on downloaded file to start extraction process.

Note - Files must be located in the exact directories listed below to be used by Civil 3D.

Files are intended for use in AutoCAD Civil 3D 2010. Install location values surrounded by '%' indicate a Windows system variable. Some install locations will need to be different for Windows 7.
