Project Overview
The concrete on the bridge decks on these sections of WIS 22 and WIS 49 are showing signs of deterioration and exhibiting forms of cracking. An improvement project is needed to ensure that the life of the structure and the state’s investment in these bridges is maximized.
Proposed improvements include:
- Mill and overlay the bridge decks and approaches
- Upgrade the guardrail to current standards
- Restain parapets
Traffic Impacts
During construction, the bridges are to remain open to one lane of traffic utilizing temporary signals. Motorists can expect some delays to occur, but delays will be minimal.
