Project Overview
The proposed project would include a 2-inch mill and overlay to address the rutting and alligator cracking present on the surface of the roadway. Base patching will be included to repair the longitudinal and transverse cracking. A 2-foot paved shoulder would be added to the full length of the project. Culverts crossing WIS 156 that are in poor condition would be replaced. The guardrail between Hill Road and Elm Road will be removed and replaced with guardrail with energy absorbing terminals.
Traffic Impacts
WIS 156 will remain open to traffic. Motorists can expect daytime flagging during construction. Temporary signals may be necessary to replace the box culvert between Hill Road and Elm Road.
