Project Overview
The existing pavement is experiencing transverse and longitudinal cracking, alligator cracking, and rutting. This is occurring due to traffic loading and the seasonal freeze/thaw process. To address these issues, proposed improvements include milling and overlaying the existing pavement. In addition, several curb and gutter sections will be replaced, several inlets will be repaired, curb ramps will be updated to current ADA standards, a section of roadway experiencing a frost heave will be addressed, and new pavement markings will be installed.
Traffic Impacts
Impacts will include daytime single lane closures. Roadway will be open to traffic by the end of the work day. No detours or temporary signals are expected.
Real Estate
Temporary Real Estate acquisition is anticipated for curb ramp upgrades to current ADA standards.
