Overview
The asphalt pavement on this section of US 45 is showing signs of deterioration. There are 12 culvert pipes that are deteriorated and near the end of their useful service life in need of replacement.
- Proposed improvements include:
- Repaving this stretch of US 45
- Replacing the 12 culvert pipes along the project
- Installing new pavement marking and centerline/shoulder rumble strips
- Widening paved shoulders from 3 feet to 5 feet

Traffic Impacts
The highway is expected to remain open during construction. Motorists can expect periodic lane closures, lane width restrictions, flagging operations and speed reductions.

A public involvement letter has been sent out to those affected by this project. A public involvement period was held and the following information was presented:
